Conference Website
The official Maglev 2026 conference website is expected to launch by the end of August 2025.

Conference Dates and Venue
To avoid conflicts with major international rail transit events such as InnoTrans 2026 (September 22–25, 2026), Maglev 2026 is tentatively scheduled for October 14–18, 2026, in Qingdao, China. The Wyndham Hotel Qingdao has been tentatively selected as the host hotel.

Organizers and Committees
Maglev 2026 is co-organized by the State Key Laboratory of High-Speed Maglev Transport Technology (SKLM), CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd., and Tongji University. SKLM is currently forming the Local Steering Committee, which includes the Scientific and Organizing Committees.

Program Highlights
The program will feature an opening ceremony, keynote speeches, parallel sessions, poster presentations, an industrial exhibition, technical visits, a Shanghai maglev trial ride, and social activities.

Call for Papers
The call for papers will include six main categories with 44 subtopics, covering areas such as core devices, system integration, intelligent maintenance, line operations, planning, and maglev technology extensions. The first call for papers will be issued in mid-September 2025 via the conference website, official WeChat account, and email.

Keynote and Invited Speeches
The conference will include five to six plenary lectures and four to six invited speeches in each parallel session.
