Convention to Promote the Early Opening of the Nagoya-Osaka Linear Shinkansen Line, Nara

The governors of Nara, Osaka, and Mie prefectures, as well as business leaders, gathered in Nara City to call for the early opening of the Nagoya-Osaka Linear Shinkansen Line.

JR Tokai has been aiming to open the Nagoya-Osaka section of the Linear Central Shinkansen Line as early as 2037, but due to the fact that construction has not begun in Shizuoka Prefecture, it is recognized that it will be difficult to open the line as originally planned.
