Press Test Ride of Linear Central Shinkansen Modified Test Train in Yamanashi Prefecture
On October 5, a test ride for the media was held in Yamanashi Prefecture for the Linear Central Shinkansen Line, which has been improved for commercial operation and can reach a maximum speed of 500 km/h.
About 100 members of the press participated in the test-ride event and boarded the improved test train, which JR Tokai has been testing since last year, at the Yamanashi Test Center in Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture. According to JR Tokai,
the improved vehicle has a 13% reduction in aerodynamic drag, power consumption, and noise level by modifying the shape of the leading edge of the vehicle.
JR Tokai plans to hold a trial ride of the Linear Central Shinkansen for the general public from the 25th to the 27th of this month.

But they will never sell it overseas as it cannot carry an overnight container train which makes it uneconomical in big democracies.

Very pretty but will not sell for passengers, it needs an overnight container train to lower daytime fares below planes in a big democracy.
