A video of the "L0 series" superconducting linear train, which is currently undergoing test runs in preparation for the opening of the Linear Central Shinkansen, is attracting a lot of attention.

The video was posted on October 10, and JR Tokai fully cooperated in the filming. In the video, Hajime Shacho visits the Yamanashi Linear Test Line, experiences a test run of the L0 series at 500 km/h, and tries to see if he can identify the letters on a board on the side of the track from inside a moving car. The number of views has already exceeded 1 million as of the day after the release of the video, and as of October 25, the number is close to 2.5 million.

In the video, Hajime Shacho, who frequently travels back and forth between Shizuoka and Tokyo, says, "JR Tokai, I am always indebted to you on the Shinkansen. The fact that JR Tokai, which has an image of a "rigid company," cooperated in the filming of a YouTube video was met with surprise in the comments section of the video and on social networks.

When we asked the company how this came about, they told us that they were considering ways to disseminate information about the superconducting linear rail system, and "Hajime Shacho-san's interest in the project led to discussions," according to a company spokesperson. Of course, this is the first time a YouTube star has chartered a superconducting linear train. The spokesperson commented, "This is an innovative and interesting way to tell the story, and we hope everyone will watch it.

Just build an overnight container train that will make it economical in big democracies like America as their existing rail and planes are yesterday technology and put it on YouTube in English if you want to sell the tech overseas.

On December 9, JR Tokai started a two-day "open house type" briefing session in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, to provide visitors with information on the Linear Central Shinkansen project and construction status. This is the first time for JR Tokai to hold such a briefing session in Tokyo regarding the Linear construction project. The venue was opened to the press on the same evening.

The purpose of the meeting was to deepen the understanding of the residents living along the Linear Line about the construction of tunnels to be excavated deep underground in Shinagawa Ward and other areas using shield machines, large excavators. Panels and videos were prepared to explain the outline of the construction and the route of the tunnel, and company employees were on hand to answer questions. About 60 people visited the event. The company plans to hold other events in Shinagawa Ward, as well as in Ota and Setagaya wards along the line.
