Information about the 2022 Maglev Conference in Changsha, China.

The conference will be held on Tuesday, October 18 and Wednesday, October 19, 2022 as an online event.

• The conference will use Zoom as a streaming platform.
• The conference language is English.
• Online participation free of charge.

SC maglev is the future of train transport but it must have an overnight container train to reduce the daytime fare below planes but to go 700 km/h and prevent the surface problems it also must be done in a single 11 psi tunnel between big cities.

My suggestion for the freight sidings is to make the front wheels steerable to avoid costly points.

The 25th International Conference on Magnetically Levitated Systems and Linear Drives (MAGLEV 2022) opened in Changsha on the evening of October 18. The two-day conference was hosted by the Hunan Rail Transit Holding Group (HNRT), Tongji University, and the International Maglev Board (IMB).

Themed "Smart Maglev Connects the World", the Maglev 2022 focused on innovative application of maglev technologies, fully demonstrated engineering achievements in maglev transportation, helped effectively advance integrated development of international factors, and promoted international cooperation and exchanges of maglev technologies.

The biennial international conference is the largest meeting at the highest level and with supreme authority in maglev technologies in the global maglev circle.

China has much experience with tunnels, Japan has much experience with SC maglev and America is a huge country that needs a 700 km/h overnight container train between big cities to reduce daytime fares below planes.

If they swallowed their pride and worked together showcasing it between Sydney and Melbourne in Australia it would save pollution and save much on drivers and maintenance in many parts of the world.

I also suggest that to enter freight sidings to make the front wheels steerable to avoid expensive points.
