TSB travels at top speed in China
With a top speed of 169 km/h, Transport System Bögl has set a new record for medium-low-speed maglev trains. Following the successful commissioning of the third vehicle section in January, the TSB thus achieved another milestone last month on the 3.5 km demonstration line in Chengdu.
In the next few years, the Chinese government plans to optimize local public transport with the help of state-of-the-art technologies. According to Max Boegl (webiste), the aim of the demonstration line in Chengdu is to convince Chinese customers of the technology and its performance and to provide the necessary evidence for approval in China.
