[NL] Hyperloop tests with passengers realistic by 2030?
'Hyperloop tests with passengers realistic by 2030’ – Hardt director on breakthroughs and scepticism
quote]Dutch company Hardt Hyperloop has once again achieved a series of breakthroughs: the vehicle has become lighter, faster and more stable. Thanks in part to ‘help’ from perhaps a unexpected source – the electric car industry – hyperloop has become more realistic in recent years. Nevertheless, director Roel van de Pas emphasises that technology is only part of the story. Without European standardisation and a joint full-scale test facility, the future of hyperloop remains uncertain. “Hyperloop either exists as a multi-vendor marketplace or not at all.”[/quote]

https://www.railway.supply/en/hardt-hyp ... cuum-tube/ Accessed 2025-09-17. Engineers attained a 45% weight reduction in the cart, a 50% increase in traction power, and integration of the propulsion system with magnetic guidance. The upgrades increased system reliability and stability. [...] The next is to set up a 3–5 km long demo route. Then the company will deploy a commercial up to 50 km long line to be utilized as the base for deployment.
