Hi all,

What would the comparison look like - a maglev train(or pods) versus a wheeled electric train(or pods) moving through the tube.

To keep things equal let's consider - trains of same weight(possible?), same seating capacity, same speed (whatever max wheeled ones have achieved - guess, 357 mph - or just for analysis we may consider 500 kmph ?)

Unviable? unattractive? Why? Please share the factors you may consider relevant for your opinion?

Sorry but it would be too slow for overnight container trains and too expensive to maintain in my opinion.
