The Northeast Maglev, developer of a large infrastructure project, seeks an experienced candidate for Real Estate Project Manager to ensure TNEM’s interests while developing and administering the RAMP. The successful candidate will be technically competent (understands engineering concepts) and have successfully negotiated private and federal/state/local land procurements and easements above and below ground. This is a role where an organized self-starter with strong communication, report building, analysis, and prioritization skills will thrive.
Position Requirements / Duties
Own/manage real estate acquisition management plan and oversee/manage RAMP contractor.
Coordinate SOW, deadlines, budgets, and schedules.
Help the project team identify, assess, and solve challenges to optimize the project as related to: ROW siting constraints, project design requirements, permitting challenges, land acquisition, stakeholder consultation, and other aspects of early-stage project development.
Navigate and solve real estate and land control issues.
Evaluate/report site technically feasible, stakeholder support, and land control.
Risk Identification and assessment.
Ensure appropriate project record keeping and reporting for regulatory compliance.
Contribute to the overall leadership, strategy development, corporate initiatives, and engagement.
Preparation of project and executive review packages.
Coordinate and support meetings with key stakeholders: local planning boards, Federal agencies, community groups, and legislators as needed.
Experience Required / Recommended
10+ years of progressive work experience in project development and real estate acquisition.
10+ years relevant experience in management of large-scale projects.
Environmental engineering/permitting & NEPA (preferred).
Strong communications skills; both written and oral.
Excellent external and internal relationship building skills with a focus on driving business results.
Commercial acumen and the ability to effectively evaluate and solve business challenges.
Ability to prioritize conflicting deliverables and work well under pressure.
Entrepreneurial mindset.
Proficient with MS Office, GIS/mapping, and project management software.
Experience working with Government Agencies.
Experience Preferred
Experience with event planning
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, various social media platforms
Familiarity with graphic design concepts
Bilingual in Spanish speaking and writing a plus
Strong messaging and marketing background
Experience with CRM products
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Advanced degree (preferred).
