At 16.10 he says China had the first HSR freight train but according to AI it only carried 110t over eight carriages.

19.42 that is what they hope for but at present it is pushed by hand.

Japan and China have different safety standards so the Japanese will not sell the SC maglev to China so they are trying to make it themselves so they are stuck with trucks and planes for years while Japan has proven it between 1997 and 2011.

To avoid push back like California and Japan I suggest a referendum on stage one connecting Melbourne to Sydney via Albury and Canberra like they had in Sweden with the base tunnel but it would need 80% to pass as we are very conservative.

Unlike present HSR which has to be subsidised worldwide the overnight container train not only removes half the trucks off the Hume but the SC maglev kills planes with a cheaper more reliable daytime fare.

Like the Sydney opera house the Parrahub building has never been built before so it needs a lottery to avoid interest charges although I estimate $2m per unit with fees and charges covered by the shops in the centre.

After watching how slow trains are in America perhaps they would buy the overnight container SC maglev off us to remove some trucks and planes.

As Australia is already in bed with CLARA that did not stack up economically perhaps they may let us showcase the SC maglev here with overnight containers and possibly sell it to China as well as America.
