The largest ongoing project of the OstAllianz is the MobilityHub Munich East. At central locations in the region, S-Bahn, bus, bicycle, and car traffic are to be linked so that transfers between modes of transport work smoothly. Charging infrastructure and parking spaces are also planned as part of the concept.
For the Aschheim and Feldkirchen locations, a concept study has been underway since May 2026. The OstAllianz awarded the study to BERNARD Gruppe ZT GmbH from Munich.
The magnetic levitation technology of Transport System Bögl is also being reviewed. The OstAllianz has decided to examine it objectively and without any preliminary decision, including as part of the ongoing MobilityHub concept study.
The aim is not to push through a specific solution, but to understand what this technology could contribute to Munich’s east.
