JR Central will hold the “Sagamihara Linear Festival 2026” on October 24–25, 10:00–17:00, at the Chuo Shinkansen maglev line’s Kanagawa Prefecture Station (provisional) construction site.

The free event features music live performances on an underground stage, ground-stage performances, exhibition and food booths, and a public opening of the construction site. Entry requires advance registration.

On September 3, JR Central announced it will co-host the “Sagamihara Linear Festival 2026” with Kanagawa Prefecture and Sagamihara City on October 24–25, opening the Chuo Shinkansen maglev line’s Kanagawa Prefecture Station (provisional) construction site to the public.

The free event at the site—3 minutes from Hashimoto Station—runs 10:00–17:00 daily. It features a B2 underground stage for music lives, ground-stage performances, local experience/exhibition booths, and food trucks. Part of the construction site will also be open. An opening ceremony is planned for October 24 at 11:00. Advance registration is required.
