It was announced lately that a new vehicle has been operating on the Tongji university route since March 8, 2021. This is a vehicle from the manufacturer CRRC, which was presented at a Chinese conference in 2019/2020.
The picture proofs that this vehicle is based on Transrapid technology, but the individual sections look like split in half. This was done to probably achieve smaller curve radii.
The vehicle brings back memories to an old study of "Transrapid-N", which would have been based on Transrapid 07 (TR07).
