リニア地上部に「防音フード」設置 山梨区間の8割 JR東海

県内ではリニアが走行する約83キロの区間のうち、トンネルを除く約27キロが地上区間となる。JR東海は長崎知事らに、地上区間では高さ約8メートルのコンクリート製のフードを設置する方針を説明。車体と空気の摩擦熱を逃すための換気箇所の整備や地盤条件などで、フードを設置できない区間については、上部が空いた高さ約3・5メートルの防音壁で代替するとした。
A translation:

JR Tokai explained to the Nagasaki governor and others that it plans to install an 8-meter-high concrete hood on the above-ground section. For the sections where the hoods cannot be installed due to ground conditions or the need for ventilation to release the heat from the friction between the vehicle and the air, the company said it would use a 3.5-meter-high soundproof wall with an open top.
