The 19th International Symposium on Magnetic Bearings, ISMB19, will be held at the Biwako Hotel in Otsu from August 19 to 22, 2025. [...]

The main objectives of ISMB19 are to promote scientific and technological exchange between Asia and other parts of the world, and to enhance the understanding and the dissemination of magnetic bearing technology worldwide. ISMB is a premier meeting place for academic and industrial researchers from around the world.

1- or 2-page digests will be accepted via the website. Digests must be converted to PDF files and submitted by March 1, 2025.

The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) plans to publish a special issue on “Advanced Magnetic Bearing Technology” in the Mechanical Engineering Journal in June 2026. Papers selected from those presented at the symposium will be recommended for publication in this special issue.
